How it works

Once you’ve installed Time Bot, you can start tracking your time.

  • To begin, head to the channel where you’d like to work and type: “/t” followed by a task description, for example: “ /t improving LP design“. This starts your business day, and you’ll be able to see that you’re working in that particular channel and on that task.
  • If you need to take a break, type “/t break” or “/t b,” and Time Bot will start tracking your break.
  • When you’re ready to get back to work, simply type “/t” followed by the task description again. You can work like this all day, breaking up your tasks as necessary.
  • When you’re ready to finish your day, type “/t finish,” and your day will be complete.
  • The next day, simply type “/t” and your task description to start your business day all over again.

Learn more about Time bot’s key features

Invoicing: Time Bot also allows you to set up payment info, and send invoices to employees or employers. You can mark invoices as paid or rejected later on. If an invoice is rejected, the employee will receive a notification and must make the necessary corrections before resubmitting the invoice.

Export Data: You export all data for a specific period of time or for the entire history of your account. This feature is useful for generating reports or sharing data with other team members.

Notifications: Set up the maximum time that you require for a task, and the Time bot will notify you when you reach that limit. This can help employees prioritize their work better and prevent procrastination.

Dashboard and reporting section: The time tracking section of the dashboard has an easy-to-use controller that lets you track any period of time and pull up a report on that period. You can also search for tasks and descriptions to include in the report.
